Several former Borchard Fellows presented at the 2017 annual National Aging & Law Conference held in Silver Spring, Maryland--Dani Kaiserman with Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles, California; Catheryn Koss, Assistant Professor of Gerontology at the California State University, Sacramento; Jennifer Marshall Roden, a private elder law attorney with Craige & Fox in Wilmington, North Carolina; Peter Travitsky with the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program at New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) in New York City; and, Rebecca Vallas, Managing Director, Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. Several more former and current fellows attended the conference and were able to spend time together networking. The Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging was again this year a major sponsor of the conference that brings together advocates from around the country.
