Borchard Fellow Publishes Article on SSA Representative Payee Program

Shana Wynn, a 2015-1026 fellow, has published an article on the Social Security Adminstration's Representative Payee Program in the February 2016 edition of BIFOCAL, a journal of the ABA Commission on Law & Aging.

Shana Wynn is spending her fellowship year with  Justice in Aging (formerly the National Senior Citizens Law Center) where she is formulating policy recommendations to help improve SSA’s representative payee program for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients and Social Security beneficiaries. Shana also works at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program in Washington, DC, to provide pro bono services to low-income seniors and secure access to public benefits such as SSI.
