The Borchard Foundation Board of Directors are pleased to announce the 2016 recipients of the Academic Research Grants in Law & Aging. The recipients and their research projects are:

Tamara Baker, University of Kansas: Identifying Social Determinants in Disparities in Advance Care Planning Between White and African-American Older Adults

Donna Cohen, University of South Florida: Family Caregiver Homicides of Older Persons

Eleanor Lanier Crosby, University of Georgia School of Law: Statutory and Practical Barriers to Tailored Guardianships and Conservatorships

Pi-Ju (Marian) Liu, University of California, San Franscisco: Moving Towards Uniform Statewide Reporting: Evaluating California Adult Protective Services Readiness to Participate in National Maltreatment Program
