The Borchard Foundation Board of Directors are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 law and aging academic research grants. They are:

 Professors Nina Kohn and Israel Doron: Connecting ElderLaw and Gerontology;

Lauren Lisi and Pennelope Hommel of The Center for Social Gerontology: National Survey of Statewide Reporting Practices for Title III-B Legal Services, Creation of Guidelines for Uniform Statewide Reporting Systems & Steps Needed to Move Toward Uniform Nationwide Reporting;

Professor Jan Mutchler and research associates Caitlyn Coyle and John Kramer: Bridging Aging and Disability: The Role of Aging and Disability Resource Centers in Serving Adults Aging with Intellectual Disabilities and Their Family Caregivers; 

and Diane Thompson of the National Consumer Law Center: The Need for Mortgage Modifications When a Spouse or Long-Term Partner Dies.
