Vivianne Mbaku

Vivianne Mbaku is an elder justice advocate and attorney. She is currently the Director of Equity in Elder Justice at Justice in Aging. She started her legal career working as a staff attorney for the Utah State Courts Self Help Center. She has also worked as a legal aid attorney in Utah and California, practicing consumer and public benefits law. Vivianne completed an appellate clerkship with the Honorable Senior Justice Petra Jimenez-Maes of the New Mexico Supreme Court.

Vivianne is a 2012 graduate of the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law and earned a B.A. in Politics and Latin American Studies from Scripps College. She also serves as a stakeholder member of the California Elder & Disability Justice Coordinating Council.

Vivianne is licensed to practice law in California (active) and Utah (inactive).
